I'm from a generation that simply worked as hard as possible. I'm a give 100% kinda person, but I can understand to an extent where these young people are coming from. I had countless friends, myself included, give themselves above and beyond to an organisation, only to be shamelessly made redundant because they or their position no longer makes economic sense. It's hard then for the next generation who may have witnessed this in their parents, to then go on and have that same loyalty to a company. That said I think it's important to do your best, in every hour that you are being paid, then, when your time is up, you have the right to so 'no' to any additional work, and then go home, and do with your own time whatever you like.

I'm a Jaguar driver. I love mine and would buy another one. Think I'll go for an XJ next. I predict they will rise in value though, with the company's relentless push towards all-electric, which, if the Porsche Taycan's massive depreciation is anything to go by, I think would be a major mistake. That said, I do believe Jaguar should look to the future. They must attract newer younger buyers. But the mistake they have made is to despise the demographic that has built the company, in favour of a 'potential' demographic. Any marketing person would tell you that it's much easier to maintain the customers you have than to get new ones. Jaguar need to look to the future. yes, but bring people with them. They also need to make sure their vision of the future is something people actually want. I don't believe the brand is dead...yet. This was a very bad advert, no question. But they have got the whole automotive world talking. What will be key now is the 'follow-up' advert. That now has to be an absolute 'home-run'. Anything short of that, and I fear it could be curtains. It's probably worth noting that in a rush to seem 'inclusive', Jaguar has ironically 'excluded' the very demographic that built their brand.

Actually, football (or soccer, as you may refer to it), probably the biggest sport in the world, is trickier than you might think, and, under that kind of 'world' pressure, many top professionals have missed the mark, as you would find in every single sport. Come on brov, at least make your criticism fair, witty yes, but fair.
