  2. Not sure if you are aware, but the last real estate crisis started in Iceland and carried over to England prior to hitting the US. Was not an exclusively US centric event. Would strongly recommend you view the PBS Documentary "Meltdown" a 4 part series of about 45 minutes each part. Best I have seen. Even in the Big Short, the Ben Rickart character is talking with the Brownfield guys and says "Iceland is toast" easily missed but was relevant to real events. Iceland's refusal to protect bank accounts of British citizens brought those 2 countries to extreme hostility. To assume that events in other countries cannot carry over to the US would be foolhardy.
