  1. Anyone should watch the documentary "Meltdown" on youtube to see how complex and international the GFC was. Yes, ill advised lending was part, but so much more to it including what happened in Greece, Iceland, Britian and other places especially with the collapse of the many types of derivatives that were traded in financial markets by the big banks. Included, but much more complex, than what was portrayed in The Big Short.
