Imagine having a,similar mortgage payment which for about 5 years is like rent anyhow given the high proportion of interest in early years payments, then getting a 30k decrease in value thus making you deeply underwater. Goodbye down payment equity. Goodbye mobility. Hello insanity. Feels real bad
