  1. Would be instructive to see how the stats today compares to late 2005 or early 06. 07 in some areas. Human nature seems consistent. Remember increase in inventory and price drops followed by a bump in sales to those perceiving value. This was followed by the drop in sales and prices that was protracted. In securities some refer to a dead cat bounce which may be parallel. The press was blamed for spreading pessimism. This will be multiplied due to instant news cycle and social media. Hope we avoid a repeat. Too early to tell, but many of same ingredients in play. No two are ever the same.
