  1. Since when are home inspectors expected to be cost estimators? Doesn't make sense. Really stupid if the inspector volunteered a roof estimate and should have declined if asked by the agent or buyer. Very dumb unless he/she was also an experienced roofing estimator, but probably not.

  2. The fake borrower's credentials very much in play during the last housing boom 2005+/-. Not a new thing and not limited to Canada. Happened right here in the US as well.
