A lot of weird stuff starts happening when you start training 25 year olds that already spent 6 years as a comptroller or store keeper on a destroyer.

  34. Less than 100 years ago American communities policed through street justice and very few police were required. In more modern times the government has grown ever more powerful and its original agreement last century was, "don't use mob justice we will protect you". Now the government has gone back on its promise and you will see the rise of mob justice again. Americans don't need police to keep their streets safe, it simply needs the government out of the way.
