  3. The communists overthrew the legitimate government in the 40s after a Democrat named Truman did nothing to stop it. Then the Emperor of China fled to Taiwan where eventually they became Democratic. Idiots like Nixon and Democrats along with leftists in Europe started trying to trade with China thinking it would lead to them embracing capitalism and freedom. Instead Americans enriched corrupt Chinese mainlanders by exporting our jobs overseas and now the US government is clawing them back doing tremendous damage to China currently. The communists have always wanted Taiwan but it's not theirs to take. It doesn't really matter though because China is finished as populism has taken hold in America and Biden is continuing trump era trade policy which is nearly bankrupting Chinese companies like ZTE and Huawei which all rely on American technology and American processors. The Chinese are also extremely old because apparently they can't get laid and import most of their energy and food from the United States. China is finished, I give the 15 years max.
