@Sca1edAnd Pilots don't have PTSD, get real! 🤣. Way too many BS Hollywood movies for you!

@Davethreshold It's like you have no idea how his aircraft came to be and it's like you have no idea that the USAF brass goes to the Senate Arms committee constantly to retire the aircraft from service citing statistics and mission capable rates. Keep watching propaganda some more 😂

Since 2006 I have defended this aircraft from all of the anti-American types on social media that were too lazy and ignorant to even read or find the USAF Budget overviews showing this aircraft's gross costs. The US Air Force does not hire dummies and Lockheed isn't some European company cutting corners or some commie bureau in China. Next time shut up and get out of the USAF's way, thanks.

@AnotherSpaceCowBoy Keep your warehouse job guy, you know jack about the USAF or it's aircraft.

@PrograError If any of you civilians have ever worked as a Crew Chief or a specialist in the last 25 years you know the F-14 and F-4 were More complex with analog gauges that required constant calibration and manual control. I saw newer aircraft showing up on base in the early to mid 2000s and even refueling was easier as you can put in how many pounds of fuel you want while these older aircraft are switches and a float gauge and if you don't pay close attention you can spend hours defueling with a gravity feed. With the new sensors through flights, and post flights sew a breeze which is untrue with the old aircraft. I have also seen the F-14 on USAF bases traveling through and would tow it in the hangar, it was an extremely leaky POS. Civilian warehouse workers and kids living at home should type less and conduct more research.

As soon as I hear, "Fighter Mafia" I quit the video. Boyd and Sprey have made up stuff for years and are not engineers.

Dominic Brunsmeier You know nothing of things military. It's always cute to see know it all non-veterans discounting American fighting prowess. Americans never their adversary 😂.
1
@Rigel_6 Know it all civilians know everything military of course! 😂
1
@someonesvagabond Russia is already out of bombs and missiles 😂😂
1
@USSAnimeNCC- The USAF doesn't find the A-10 useful, they show the Senate arms committee stats annually arguing to retire it. The F-15EX wasn't chosen by the USAF either, that is something Trump pushed for. The US military is commonly used by lobbyists and politicians for creating and maintaining jobs in districts. Look at the KC-46, another aircraft forced on the USAF through corruption.
1
@USSAnimeNCC- The F-18Cs are going away and the Super Hornets around 2030ish.
1
@snowsnow4231 It was built for Europe dummy.
1
@Attaxalotl The M1 was built for Europe in the Cold War. Zoomers and Millennials know zip about things military.
1
@rbgerald2469 NATO barely has anything, it's the USA with all of the gear and logistics.
1
Dominic Brunsmeier It's warfare not warfair.
1
Dominic Brunsmeier Americans are unbeatable in a battle, it actually takes a Democrat president to force us to retreat 🤣. How can you be a Putinphile when everyone knew the Russians were garbage for 25 years?
1
@Skychickenpilot You can use any worthless degree in the USAF including a useless polysci education 😂.
1
A-10= Another garbage political aircraft that can't fight in contested airspace with Congress forcing it on the USAF as jobs in their district. The A-10, KC-46, and F-15EX are all cronyism projects put in by corrupt politicians.
1
@lukaslee7380 Uneducated response.
1
You wouldn't need to make a special helicopter if Jimmy Carter and the Democrats weren't such cowards.
1
@Drebin2293 If Biden was still in he could just tell them he's trans and they would let him off of punishment and Biden would probably give him the Medal of Freedom.
1
That is because it is built by Americans. Foreigners are always surprised when Americans can easily put out things like this at costs most can afford.

@ashleygoggs5679 Maintenance costs are tied into manhours and parts costs. The new aircraft require less man hours to get back into the air(once maintainers are experienced) . I was a USAF Crew Chief on C-130E, H, and was part of the J program in the early to mid 2000s. All of these new aircraft are less complex or the same mechanically while the electronics are more powerful not more complex. As time goes on maintainers get better at refining the maintenence through experience which breeds efficiency. Not only they but the USAF maintains TCTO programs that involve aircraft manufacturers and repairs as unknown defects are found as the air frame ages. This find and fix program is also sent to our allies and vice versa so even as the aircraft ages maintenance costs through manhours and correcting deficienes are reduced. There are a lot of moving parts with gross costs, training costs, maintainer experience, and efficiency/defiency programs. The people behind this stuff are not gender studies majors, they are result oriented people.

Sadly the A-10 hasn't been pulling it's weight in years as the F-16, F-15E, and B-1 have been carrying most of the weight the A-10 should have been carrying. The A-10 has been continued only because corrupt politicians want to use the USAF as a job program.
1
@i9x1 The A-10 is a politics aircraft that doesn't pull its own weight. The USAF leadership tries to get rid of it every fiscal year because it's outshined by other aircraft many of which are multi-role like the F-15E.
1
@Helperbot-2000 The A-10 is a pure political crony capitalist aircraft. The USAF cites it's inferior performance every fiscal year and corrupt career politicians keep it in service using the USAF budget to provide jobs to their constituents.
1
@gabrielthegamer0816 The A-10 is a political crony capitalist aircraft the USAF doesn't want. Even the F-16 has better statistics than the A-10 and yet corrupt politicians force the USAF to spend money on it when it should have been retired in the Arizona boneyard 10 years ago.
1
@gabrielthegamer0816 The AC-130 and F-15E are far superior to the A-10 and aircraft the USAF actually wants. The A-10 is not wanted and politicians force the aircraft on the USAF due to corruption.
1
@privatetrolldier5640 No he isn't, the A-10 is a political aircraft. You people are unaware of the superior statistics of the F-16, B-1, F-15E, and AC-130 compared to the A-10. The A-10 is not wanted by the USAF but rather corrupt politicians from states where the aircraft is produced and serviced.
1
@MuhammadFarhan-rq7wj The USAF is forced to use it smart guy. Have you ever watched a Senate Arms committee hearing where the USAF cites the A-10's inferior record to the F-16, F-15SE, B-1, and AC-130 in Iraq and Afghanistan? Have you not watched people like Senator McCain and Thornberry (Who have manufacturing and servicing in their districts) continue to force the USAF to use the aircraft even under tight budget restrictions during Obama? We have the internet yet millions of you don't put in the time to educate yourself. Knowledge is power and many of you have little power.
1
@awastedhumansoul5068 Is it appropriate for people to hold strong opinions about things even though the piece of equipment is used for cronyism at the expense of the tax payer and military readiness? How hard is it to research the USAF budget overviews and follow-up on USAF hearings on the aircraft and why it should have been retired 20 years ago? If you go through life being lazy on research expect scorn because you simply deserve it. If you want respectful debate then offer something of value. Don't expect to say retarded things because you are too lazy to inform yourself of the arguments and expect people to respect your opinion. If you are lazy you should be scorned and rightfully so.
1
How can you have Putinphiles in the comments when the pathetic Ukranian army is slapping the Russians around and the Ruskies have lost over 1000 tanks already 🤣🤣
