  1. Former USAF Crew Chief here. Russia is dug in, the F-16 is a great tactical aircraft but it can be suppressed by air defenses but Russia will have a heck of a time trying to control the airspace of Ukraine. Americans in pitch battles don't allow enemy forces to dig, our weapons are not designed to work in a WW1 war.
