@francisTB you keep repeating nonsense from the CBC but in reality the United States can do whatever it likes, it has 340 million Americans at it's disposal, has top notch technology at it's disposal, and it has industry that can be grown at a shocking level anytime it decides to do so. A country of 30 million people many of which are on the dole in Canada is not a necessity for the United States. You Canadians need to learn to cope with that and be thankful you are allowed to trade at all! The level of entitlement Canadians have shown has let a lot of Americans know that Canada is not a good ally whatsoever and your actions are going to have political ramifications for your entire country. Your country and its leaders have read the American attitude incorrectly for the last 25 years and you are paying for it, I suggest you build out your ports and stop bowing down to Quebec(a rebel foreign province) and get your house in order. The United States can trade with anybody and doesn't even require trade with anybody, much of the trade was done after World War 2 to help Europe rebuild itself. For anybody to fear monger the United States that we need to trade with them is laughable, I literally let out hearty laughs when I read ridiculous stuff I from Canadians it's so delusional. 🇺🇲🦅
