  1.  @theoafman9068  Unfortunately liberals in Ukraine were too ignorant and arrogant to think Russia would never invade. American Democrats were too incompetent to prevent the war and when Ukrainians showed a bit of backbone suddenly the Democrats wanted a proxy war on the backs of Ukraine's families. Countries like Germany were funding the Russian military at the same time showing incredibly weakness in the face of Russian aggression. Overall this is a Western leftist ideology problem where they always show naivete and weakness inviting invasions and terrorism.

  6.  @HondoTrailside  As an American veteran it is you civilians that misunderstand Russia, Vietnam, and Cuba. The US military knows how to defeat all of these countries and quickly. You seem to confuse the civilian career politicians for American military capability. Cuba is nothing and could be removed in a week by American forces. China could be brought to it's knees next week by the US Navy. Vietnam would have been easily defeated if he US Army and USAF got it's way in planning in 1965. Unfortunately for the free world and America we have very weak career politicians especially among Democrats such as Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Clinton, Obama, and now Biden. A dictators best friend is a Democrat politician not the US military which is 90% run by conservatives.

  10. @BertyF  How old are? Prices have been going up year after year. Wages have gone up a great deal as well. Are you saying housing prices and other prices didn't rise quickly? Printing money and handing it to everyone leads to stock market jumps because so many irresponsible people are buying and spending every last dollar they have. After the spending is done and prices are sky high suddenly the government starts blaming "corporations".

  11. @BertyF  I see what you mean but I have watched decades of the Fed lowering interest rates to near zero to encourage spending every last dollar a family earns and government borrowing and printing claiming 4% inflation a year is healthy. The debt is massive and it's out growing any economic gains. This isn't good in the long term and it looks incredibly irresponsible as a society.

If you tried to fight sn American Army with a conscript army we would roll right over you. Iraq had a million men mostly conscripts and they were utterly in retreat before weeks and 1991. You get ready for work now You don't say, "I'm sure it's going to work out when we get attacked". That's what Ukraine did and now Ukraine is a bigger nation with all its buildings leveled.

It's the world's economic and military center piece in today's global order. The only reason mouthy foreigners live as good as they do and get away with conscripts full of blue haired people is because of people in my family and millions more in the United States. We have forwarded deployed bases in countries advocating for our presence and these countries have the audacity to create very high tariffs against American products coupled with targeted regulation. I never saw any of you foreigners in my hometown defending me.

  49.  @tezzo55  What stopped them for 70 years? The nuclear triad is still in place. Let me spell this out to all of America's enemies and ignorant civilians alike. If a nuclear attack is launched against the United States the United States's policy is a full blown strike against all of our enemies at the same time. For example if Russia launches we will also nuke Cuba, Iran, China, N Korea and any other enemy nation. The United States will not leave an enemy standing if it is engaged in a nuclear strike. Foreigners always underestimate the United States out of ignorance but time and time again we see no quit in our military. Don't be confused by our weak presidents, if we didn't have such sissy presidents an enemy is completely screwed. Take for example the Mexican Cartel. The American military unimpeded by a president would hunt these people down and their families and stop the flow of drugs inside of weeks with or without permission from the foreign government it was operating in.
