Never in its history? I remember hyper inflation of the 1980s complete with a military dictator attacking British territory leading to a war. Argentina needs to learn that there are no free lunches in life.

@JimNZ They shouldn't be seeking any loans. Their culture needs to grow up and actually work and stop asking for free lunches. Every Argentinian I have had to supervise in the USA seems disagreeable and leftist in mentality which doesn't lend itself well to work ethic and mental stability. If the people coming to the USA are mostly like what I have seen come in Argentina is in big trouble.

If that doesn't work, get ready for refugees. Why foreigners can't figure out that there are no free lunches in life is beyond me. Printing money to pay for you to be a slacker eventually ends in hyper inflation.

@jcm95 Every Argentinian I have met is some flavor of leftist and has questionable work ethic. In fact most of these third world people I have had to supervise have questionable work ethic and come from cultures where they expect free lunches from the government via theft of their neighbors.
