@AK-cr5pe 100% wrong. The US government shutdown down businesses and restricted to people to their homes and handed people trillions of dollars to spend. People who were working from home remotely even moved to other states buying up all the housing driving costs way up because of it and are still hesitant to come back to work because they got used to working in an inexpensive state while making big income from blue cities. Once again handing out money off of the printing press devalued your purchasing power and caused the mass rush on products creating artificial demand. Politicians would love to blame corporations for their reckless policies.

@BertyF How old are? Prices have been going up year after year. Wages have gone up a great deal as well. Are you saying housing prices and other prices didn't rise quickly? Printing money and handing it to everyone leads to stock market jumps because so many irresponsible people are buying and spending every last dollar they have. After the spending is done and prices are sky high suddenly the government starts blaming "corporations".

@BertyF I see what you mean but I have watched decades of the Fed lowering interest rates to near zero to encourage spending every last dollar a family earns and government borrowing and printing claiming 4% inflation a year is healthy. The debt is massive and it's out growing any economic gains. This isn't good in the long term and it looks incredibly irresponsible as a society.
