  4. lol, I just looked up Kari Lake's bio. GOP: pre-2006 Independent: 2006-08 Democrat: 2008-2012 GOP: 2012 to present No political experience. She was weather anchor (not a meteorologist) and then a news anchor. I've never seen a person change their party affiliation 3 times in 6 years.

  32. This is why it's harder for Dems to stay in power. Investments in people take time and aren't immediate unlike sugar high like tax cuts. It's unfortunate. Still am baffled how Gore didn't get elected though since Bubba presided over a total rebound in the economy while cutting the deficit. Even though now we realize a lot of policies were very problematic. Bubba had 4 straight years of more than 4% GDP growth in his last term.

  34.  @ngotemna8875  That's a bit of a negative slant. But, yes in practical terms, "I don't know" is the simplest explanation. Not a believer that stories passed down generations are accurate representations of God. Not much passes the smell test since we know way more about the universe. I am curious about what was before the Big Bang. There are a lot of interesting things that happen in nature / universe that make me curious.

  38.  @docholiday2795  I'm ethnically Korean and grew up in Baltimore. I have a Baltimore accent which I repress. Also, I can speak like a local person that lives in Hawaii which I repress. Most of the time, I sound like a white person with a plain American accent.

  41.  @inquisitive.lurker  At one point in my career, I was pretty smart. Thought really quick on my feet in meetings and worked well in small settings. My boss was smart, but much slower. I had to be very slow and tone things down for him. But, he was a much better public speaker. I got really nervous when I had to stand in front of the whole company and talk about our business results. Which is in contrast to talking to the big boss daily on the phone and all the department heads weekly in a smaller setting. I excelled doing those type of venues. I'm not a politician though. Hope someone on her team was honest with her.
