66% of the donors were first time. That's huge.

How did Google not make this into an ad somehow?

It's crazy. I thought this battle was done years ago.

Dude - you literally scrub and wash yourself before getting into the soaking hot water. And, yes. people aren't just skipping it and jumping into the water. There is a greater sense of responsibility in Japan. Look at the streets. There is no litter.
19
Tell me you know nothing about Japan without saying you know nothing about Japan. Japan is 2.5% foreigners and expected to grow to over 10%. Roughly 0.2% of the population is "illegal" or about 250K.

Lawyers > Doctors

Like anything if you grow up with it, it's no big deal.

lol, they aren’t multiplying because people aren’t around. They just are more visible.

No big deal.

Not a sting! They were executing a search warrant. A no knock search warrants. Even more reason to have body cams.

The most fabulous year round sleeping weather in the country. I'm a big fan of the fog.

Recycling unfortunately has been the biggest scam ever. Need to regulate the materials allowed up front at production.

Life is random sometime. The football player’s Dad was accidentally shot and killed at work.

Jerry Brown. Totally underrated politician.

Bill Clinton I think he could have taken The Daily Show to a new level. He's a smart comedian and if they would have gave him creative control, he would have put out quality material. I rarely watch the Daily Show anymore since Jon left. All of the Daily Show's good pieces required investment aka Jon going to AU, Jason Jones to Russia and Iran.

Lived in Korea a decade ago. My building had strict rules on recycling. Everything got recycled. And, you had to buy a special bag for trash only (cost 50 cents per bag). Even stuff like potato chip bags had to be separated.

Pretty nuts. The dude hit the literal jackpot. Eat some subway sandwiches, stay in shape and make millions. And he f-d that up.
2
I’m frightened to know the statistics / demographics on judges in our system. And how few probably have real life experiences.
2
The idiots labeled it a schedule 1 preventing decades of research.

Comedy Central fucked up. They should have locked up Oliver before he temporarily took over for Jon (when he was directing). I'd rather see Oliver 4 days a week than 1 day a week.

This is all bullshit because we don't know the details. Most likely, these NOL were not personal losses and his money, but the banks money. Trump took advantage of an loophole that was closed in 2002 (most likely).
1
Did you read the article? It's a one sided piece. Here's what the writer is twisting: Trump's NOL was most likely a bank loss, not his own personal loss, but unlike BRK, Trump's records are all private. 1- Author is bitching about why BRK doesn't pay him a higher salary and why he hasn't cashed in more stock. What a fucking joke. Buffett is frugal and doesn't need the billion+ cash payout. "What is astounding about those numbers is not the 17.3% tax rate, but that Buffett’s $39.8 million of taxable income is only about 0.05% of his reported net worth" 2- Author is saying that dividend payout is better than reinvesting into BRK. You only pay out dividends if you think you can't make a higher return internally. Another stupid comment. "HOW MUCH TAX is Warren Buffett able to avoid by fixing Berkshire’s dividend at zero?" 3- Author adding in mumbo jumbo to confuse readers on accounting treatments of revenue. Gives no basis on how BRK is getting around paying taxes on this part. "FOR 2014, BERKSHIRE ITSELF recorded a provision for $7.9 billion in taxes, most of which was “deferred.” 4- KEY WORD = MIGHT. Author can't even say one way or the other. "LAST YEAR, Berkshire entered into what became known as a “cash-rich split-off” that, according to the New York Times, might have allowed it to avoid $1 billion in taxes."

Bob is still sharp at 80 yrs old.

4:15 I question the study and wonder if they need to separate it out based off languages. Japanese / Korean have verbs at the end. Your brain needs to think completely different than romance languages and English. Yes, if the kids master both languages when they are young, it probably helps. But, knowing a little makes your brain confused. Really think that's why I was terrible with English grammar when I was younger.

This is $1M+ settlement.

Nothing sad about that. 5 billion people on the planet that aren't vaccinated yet.

@James-me6dw Stop dude. Our lives are nearly 2x longer than someone born 100 years due to modern medicine. Ever heard of Measles? Polio? Tetanus? Diphtheria? We live in a f-ing country together and its a public health threat. Hope these non-vax individuals choose not to go to the hospital when they catch covid.
1
@James-me6dw Shouldn't you be in Church on the Sabbath instead of arguing on a heathen created technology?

Haha, sure sounds like people need to be like ok, I’ll call up my doctor expert. You two experts can duke it out out my wife’s care who I’m totally worried about. Hey, let’s invite a bunch of lawyers as well to the examination room. And, how about a hospital administrator and our local politician. Weeehhhh, what fun. Oh yeah, btw. I’m still pretty freaked out about my wife. I really wouldn’t like her to die after a traumatic miscarriage she just had.

Yeap, really is a family thing. My Mom was a great swimmer and it was her main form of exercise. My brother joined the Navy Seals. Me, I'm terrible relatively, but am adequate. Probably can tread water for 30 minutes, back float relatively easily and can free style properly, but inefficiently. Not great with the other strokes.

The NYC virus strain is from Europe. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-04-08/most-nyc-covid-19-cases-came-from-europe-genome-researchers-say

I worked in the back of a house at a smallish family run seafood restaurant for 2 summers. Was indoctrinated into this subculture as a teenager. And, the staff snuck me into the local bar at age 17, lol.
1
My sister and I discussed about if our parents passed that we'd want our Dad to go first. He just wouldn't be able to make it without my Mom. Ended up that way as he passed away a bit too young at 74.

Love the garden program for prison. Should cut down on food cost + better food. Homemade food by prisoners would be much cheaper.

Wait, what evidence did the 911 caller have about a stolen car?
1
Interesting. Not to point out the obvious, but he's a helping steer business to a State that is openly hostile to gays, blacks and women. And, openly mocks Hollywood and their ilk. One of those, "hey, we like your money. But, not your kind.". (I'm sure the dude is more concerned on the local level and the individual impact to justify it.)

I'm center left. He was a terrible POTUS. Sold out Taiwan to CCP China. Just unforgiveable.
