  1. I'm a huge fan of the West Wing. While I watched serious news programs with my parents when I was a kid (Nightline), the West Wing really helped me understand how politics works. And, you realize the constant re-litigation of the same issues for eternity. I mumbled, "How is this still a thing?" And, then I go back to the West Wing lessons. These darn people won't let us move forward. (the one that always kills me from the West Wing is the debt ceiling debate. And, we are still playing political football with that issue every few years.)
