Even most Asian guys that grow up in the states tend to prefer Asian spouses / SOs.

@jenniferoakes5069 I'm going to take a guess and say you live in a non-urban area and / or not on the West Coast. I think people that are raised in Hawaii, LA, SF, Seattle or parts of East Coast cities would say there isn't a stereotypical Asian.

@jenniferoakes5069 While I don't speak for all Asians, but I've lived in several different states. Here's what "can" happen: Many Asians grow up in an area with very little diversity. I grew up in a suburb with less than 5 Asian families out of 25,000 people. Essentially, there was no other people to identify with and / or date. And if I did see the random Asian person in school or at a party, my natural instinct was to not talk to that person. Yeah, kids / teens think oddly. I just wanted to fit in and not be like I'm Asian, she's Asian and everyone expects us to hook up. After high school things were much different and didn't care what other people thought. Eventually, I moved to an area where race was never a factor. (Looking back, I wish I had talked to the few Asian people that were around me in high school.)
