Man, sure seems like some areas haven't advanced. People are still praying to the rain gods.
49
O_O Working conditions in Brazil have more standards and regulation than China?
46
0:41 The dude was still moving his legs a little bit when they medics got there.
37
There are no sanctions on UA wheat. Russia stole the grain from the silos and geez, guess what? It’s hard to farm when your country is getting attacked.
27
@ckwkta88 It's internet people with zero medical training being experts on medical procedures off a short video clip. People are just weird.
27
Japan has one of the longest lifespans on the planet at 85.0 years. Koreans who have 2x the daily recommended sodium intake have a lifespan of 84.1 years. They rank #3 and #7.
26
lol, it's always the Chinese stealing fish and fishing in other waters. If it was another country, they just would have complied with the Coast Guard.
23
@chupachups2236 Where else in the globe are hospitals and funerals...overloaded? Ukraine?
19
@el-_-grando-_-_-scabandri Yeah, because provinces need separate passports. Genius!
19
I stopped listening after he talked about herd immunity in the first sentence. People on the ground in China are talking about 2nd positive / reinfection cases and symptoms being way worse. And, killing with impunity.
17
@HowToChangeName lol, those workers weren't "governors". They were low level grunt workers.
17
Because they are taught that the Japanese are the enemy.
16
I regret not going to Fukuoka when I lived in Korea. It's one of the closest points between the 2 countries and has ferry service.
15
lol, what a joke. Sedition is an extremely serious charge. In other countries, it's an extremely long sentence.
13
It's not cool to "hide" or not let people know ahead of time.
13
@HowToChangeName The video is about low level workers working in subpar conditions on "irregular" visas.
13
There is standard victims compensation. There is no evidence of anything to prove or disprove force majeure. These people want a sum of money that is way above normal compensation without evidence.
13
lol, no. You think the people in Okinawa living past 100 were athletes?
12
Dude - you need to learn what the word race / racial means.
12
@HowToChangeName lol, you are just making up stuff now and changing the goalposts. Dude - have you ever done manual labor / construction? These were construction workers. They weren't workers making actual cars. You are acting like the Brazilians aren't smart enough for construction.
11
Literally, they are running multiple articles on it. There is this thing called the internet.
11
Wait, so it was the US's fault that RE prices skyrocketed in Japan?
11
@johu492 Zero chance it's a woman. It's definitely some weird dude "living in their parents basement" (or whatever the Chinese equivalent is).
10
@Kimmimaro86 Genius! Name another province in China that needs a separate passport? lol, are we calling HK and Macau provinces now?
10
The first one was targeted at an official and his ex-wife. The official was cheating with his wife and used his influence for the courts for a lopsided judgement. The other people were collateral damage.
9
Not worst in 100 years? Pretty sure I saw that a few months ago or last year.
9
Sounds like someone would say that made up a social credit score system.
9
Ugh, please don’t generalize a country based off music, dramas and a few news articles. While not diverse, Korea has many different layers.
7
Depending on the data, Korea has 3-5% of their population of foreign workers. Japan is around 2.5%. Both countries can absorb 2-3x over time. Both countries offer high incomes to foreign workers to make it attractive. China has it much worse. You can't import 50M+ workers to China. And even if they could, the pay isn't attractive.
7
lol, people are weird. You can see the dude moving his legs a bit when the medics get there. It's means he has a pulse. You can't do CPR on someone moving around.
7
@戦え浜岡 lol, they are SARs that had official handovers by foreign governments. That ain't Taiwan which has been self-governing.
7
Walking around Venice late at night was my favorite time. Explored all the weird alleys and looked at the small store fronts (obviously not open). Did the same in Rome and Florence. Though Venice wasn’t very crowded in the day either. Went in late March in the off-season.

1- actually it has been going steadily higher. I'm using FRED history and it aggregates it at the annual level which is a bit weird. Months have be compared with each year's same month for seasonality purposes. Too lazy to find month data. 2019: 10.7% 2020: 12.7% 2021: 12.4% 2022: 13.2% 2- Likely, but not necessarily it means companies went bust. The "Youth" age bucket is defined as 16-24. But, its tilted heavily towards the 22-24 age bucket (people that graduated from college). In theory, if all companies froze hiring in 2023, it could push the rate higher. 3- But, I agree with you. It's likely a combination of factors.
7
lol, this can’t be recent. No one is wearing masks. This is supposedly Shanghai right? Why show old footage without disclosing the date?
7
Haha, CCP faked more stages videos. Just terrible.
7
@anjuna_deep Fine dude. Move to Bangladesh or Africa then. People will complain about everything.
6
Qin was invited for tea, lol.
6
Not even going to comment on construction quality. Building a lot of infrastructure sounds great, but if it's not necessary or efficiently used, it's a total drag. Heard this was a toll road. Remember, all this infrastructure needs to me monitored and maintained.
6
JFC. Are you like 2 years old? This has been the most extensively covered missing plane ever.
6
Not a fan of "planned" economies, but geez. You can't go full capitalist mode on the advanced education and not go full capitalist mode on your economy. These colleges are ripping kids off.
6
Yes. Jack Ma bought SMCP.
5
The odd combination of fruit, seafood and electronics.
5
Brilliant. Please enlighten us on how Koreans and Chinese are different races.
5
Want to throw out any useless tidbits of data that mean nothing?
5
He lives in HK. WeChat is basically a tracking device.
5
@FAFORednickincell lol, that's not economic reforms. Obviously, you don't understand economics.
5
China was only importing about 3% of their coal from AU, but it was high quality coal. Also, I‘m a bit baffled why coal prices are rising in China. You’d think it would be easy for the CCP to set the price. Coal magically didn’t become 2x more expensive to produce.
5
Protect the sick and elderly. Let normal people get vaccinated and go about their lives. Can’t have constant lockdowns for the next 5 years because of a zealot in power.
5
"I think the competitive edge of the Korean cinema lies in its freedom. I highly think of their broad range of subjects and freedom in creation," Chow said. "Sometimes I even wonder, 'Can they cover such stories?'"
5
@czech8074 Dude - we have DNA science now. This is false. Both analyses demonstrated genetic evidence of the origin of Koreans from the central Asian Mongolians. Further, the Koreans are more closely related to the Japanese and quite distant from the Chinese.
