  1. Korea has places that people eat alone all the time. More like the place that Jessi went. Eating at a meat place by yourself is unusual though.

  2. I used to eat a Korean restaurant by myself in the States all time. To grill, you had to order 2 servings. But, then I'd start eating and I order soju or makgeolli. And if I drink soju, I need a spicy soup to counterbalance to bad tasting soju. So, then I'd be really full and half drunk after eating 2 servings of meat, soup and 1-2 bottles of soju. Great, then half-drunk me would go to the nearby bar to get fully drunk. I gained weight by doing this. This is not recommended. Moral of the story: I wouldn't recommend doing this often.
