@jennysneckpillow1971 Actually, do force them. My parents didn't force me to learn Korean as a kid. And, it's one of my biggest regrets in life. It's extremely hard to learn a language later in life if you aren't naturally language skilled.

@anyaistired7060 Politely, kids can learn things much easier than adults. It's how the human brain works. When you get older, people start leaning toward their genetics. Many left brain people have extreme difficulties learning languages. I'm one of them. I'm great in math, but horrible in arts and languages.

@btsipurpeyou1544 When I say "force", its not sending their kids to a North Korean re-education camp. It would be (1) speak the language (Korean in my case) as much as possible. (2) send to a language school at least once a week (3) correct their grammar and / or spelling mistakes on the fly

@lazvegaz Yeah, not everyone has that much free time as an adult. Personally, I studied Korean at a university and had private tutors for 2 different times after college. But, after college I was more focused on my career, not learning a new language.

@head_.intheclouds Same dude. I struggle when I visit Korea. Kinda sucks as it limits what I can do over there on my own. Whenever I wander around my relatives neighborhood in Incheon, they get worried about me.
