Shortly after the family moved to Michigan a few years later, a former neighbor told the Detroit Free Press that, in 2014 and 2015, Crumbley's parents Jennifer and James often left their son home alone and without a phone while frequenting bars in downtown Lake Orion.   10. Amazingly, I used to hang out in the back part of our station wagon on our very very long family trips. And, even the short ones ie visiting relatives on Christmas. Would play with toys or just fall asleep. Oh times have changed. (this was the model with no seats. Just flat.)

  18. It will be a Federal lawsuit. The law isn’t clear, but taking possession (arrest) triggers responsibility to the police. If they just left her on the street and she died, they have no responsibility.

  24. No winners here. Cop trained to shoot a gun fast and with deadly accuracy shoots person fast with deadly accuracy. Cops overseas would have used different methods since they aren’t as trigger happy. But, this is the US.

  25. It's more weird that the cops were so aggressive about a stolen car. Those happen all the time. Cops were acting like they were chasing a multiple homicide suspect.

  31. We borrow a lot of stuff and misuse the words. RSVP is often used as a noun or verb, “RSVP requested” or “Please RSVP”. We (Americans) aren’t very smart sometimes. Although some people will just say “RSVP before Jan 1st” which would be the proper way.
