  2. Feels like the "work" dogs are always good when get responsibility. Very instinctual for them to being responsible and busy.

  3. On the East Coast, most homes are multi-level with a basement. Our house wasn't that old, but the basement was unfinished and had a lot of nooks and crannies that were fun for a cat. Then, add in lots of windows, old school radiators w/ covers. Weirdly, we just left food out all the time. Cat(s) were always slim.

  4. People that live in the same residence for a while have a hard time letting go of things. She has a great declutter method. Me, I’ve moved so many times, I’ve incorporated her method without knowing.

  5. Looks like a smallish apartment. Even though it's a fat cat now, it would likely benefit in expanding the cat's space. Need to create vertical escape spaces. Creating an upper area just for the cat with shelves etc. Didn't see any scratching posts either.

  10. Once cats get used to you, they really warm up. I used to feed feral cats and they would hear the sound of my flip flops and would come up running to me. I’d have to switch to shoes sometimes to walk by them. Also, playing with them was a big deal. I took an old iPhone cord and wrapped the end with tape and was a Macgyverish cat toy.

  12. People have so much patience. My cat growing up used to sleep in the middle of my bed. Couldn’t take it anymore and I’d have to nudge him. Eventually, he started to sleep on my parents bed.

  31. Did the world always used to be like this? I feel like people just take their own position and defend it at all costs. Obviously, some pitbulls are really cool and well training. And some pitbulls have shitty owners and are vicious. This can be applicable to a lot of different breeds. Also, there have been incidents of dogs mauling kids and adults. These are the facts Is the solution the laws in the UK? Or is the solution to have zero restrictions? I’m not sure, but it seems like the UK is “trying” to prevent accidents for better or worse.

  32. Just so weird. We used to leave food out 24-7 for our cats (we only had 1 at a time). Oddly, they never finished it. And, they never got fat. We would give canned food at night around our dinnertime. And, then would wash the bowl and put the dry food back in.
