So, basically it's the Back to the Future car. Pulling trash out of Marty's trash can.

The Evergrande and Country Garden of alcohol.

I am going to take a guess and say, the offices in Korea are not structured like this.

@blokin5039 False. Their net income sucked, but they were in the black. Has nothing to do with China since they were making record profits in '19. Post-CCP shadow ban and pre-pandemic.

@bgg2249 Who cares? They moved all their smartphone production out of China. Edit: very odd since they are cutting memory chip production overall. Not 100% sure, but looks like all semiconductor chip manufacturing is Korea or US.

@lonpfrb Thanks for the reminder. I do remember seeing in the past that it's not much of a deterrence if your adversaries don't know the capabilities or even the existence of your advanced weaponry.

Yo. This dude can't even manage the virus on his own team. And, people think he can manage the virus for the whole country?

@andrewesquerra4356 Obviously, the video did a poor job explaining it then (or you did a poor job listening). That's only 30% of their rooms. The other 70% are directly managed by Hyatt. I don't think you are familiar with the sale-leaseback business. Please research before commenting.

This is an architects dream. Plenty of skyscraper projects. Very few projects like this.

@TettyBoyFloyd Did you see the cardboard drone that Australia made? We would never come up with something like that.

Hope it has all the screws fastened. (Boeing joke)

@cheezeball6109 Totally false. NYC is 10-1 on the income scale. Bad, but manageable. Beijing / Shanghai are 50-1. US has 140M housing units vs 132M households. China reportedly has 65M EMPTY housing units. People don't realize that post-Great recession that housing starts did not keep up with supply in the US. Pricing coming down in the US has nothing to do with supply, but mortgage rates.

@b_8103 11-1 Price to income ratio. Meh, bad, but not even close to China Tier 1 cities.

There is a reason why Reagan never put a penalty clause in the amnesty bill in the ‘80s. People have reaped all the benefits of willing cheap labor for decades. Now, they are going to find out fast.
1
The US has added 80M people to its population since 1990. Japan has flatlined.
1
@davianoinglesias5030 Even if most of the labor is cheaper, a few million is not a lot of money to run a proper museum. The US National Smithsonian budget is 1 billion USD.
