  3. The demand is there for the farmers. They are paying the farmers NOT to work. Also, food security is a national security interest. It's one of America's greatest strength that we don't have to import food. A bit more important than cars.

  4.  @k.5152  The farmers aren't raising cattle. They are raising cattle feed. If the US wasn't using it, they would be exporting it to other countries.

  6. umm, you don't know Americans. 1/3 of the population can't even regulate their calorie intake and are obese. Likely, a huge factor why covid deaths were so bad in the US.
