@lisabastienne7316 Likely, copying the US strategy as well. Marine One always travels with multiple helicopters. It's part a diversion / math tactic, but helicopters break down A LOT. No one wants to get stuck, so the other choppers are backups.

Well, they have a JV with Bell for the Osprey. That thing is worst than the commercial side. Other stuff is pretty good: Little Bird, Apache, Chinook.

@CCLow-jr7um No arguments here. I wouldn't even want to travel in the Bell 412 in those conditions. I guess the Iranians found some "expert" Bell 212 mechanics, but who knows.
