lol, some restaurants / bars don't even let white people into their place. From what I read, there were communication issues due to the language barrier. When I've shopped in Korea, the ahjumma / agassi followed me around the store. And, I'm a US born Korean.

You must not travel to foreign countries where English isn't spoken. I'm always on my best behavior, avoid confrontations and extremely polite.

@jasonconrad5772 So, you never played or watched football, but friends with people that played football. And, now you are an expert in football. I think you need to re-read your sentences before communicating to other people. It sounds utterly ridiculous and your metaphors are way off. I've lived 9 years as an ex-pat in multiple countries. Oh yeah, half of my mom's family still lives in Korea. (You are literally commenting on a Korean site with zero experience overseas.)

Theoretically, it makes sense. Not all diplomats are sent to friendly nations. Lots of bad stuff can happen if there isn't diplomatic immunity. Makes less sense when its friendly nations though.
