  1. Korea's soft power via food, TV and music has lifted Korea in the international space. No recent country has done this better in the last 20 years. There are millions of people that look at ROK in a positive light now due to Kpop.

  3.  @OlSkunGun  Dude - I grew up in the US when all people knew about Korea was the war. And, my peers as kids had zero idea what Korea or a Korean was. Now, there is an Hmart 2 miles from my old house. (and this was a suburb of a major East Coast city, not some hick town in the center of the US.)

  4.  @OlSkunGun  You seem very unqualified on this subject. I lived through it as a Korean kid growing up in the US. There are vast differences on how Koreans in the US are looked at now vs 20 years ago.
