  1. NFLX saved the Korean TV industry. While Korea were exporting to Japan and other SE Asian countries, the big dollars were coming from China. And, then China banned Korean TV and Kpop. Not sure Mr Sunshine gets made in the same way without NFLX shelling out upfront money. The bigger NFLX trend was roping in film people and giving them a healthy budget to carry out their pet projects: Squid Game, DP, Narco Saints, Move to Heaven. All first time TV projects from film people. (Waiting for them to rope in Bong Joon-ho to do a series.)
