@vladeta7090 Dude - I'm a US citizen. My brother was in the special forces for 20 years and was deployed multiple times. Several of his buddies died there. We hand-holded them for 20 years. This was always going to be the outcome.

Free from what? It obvious that most people in Afghanistan have little interest in who runs the government.

@s_ana9298 Are you a US citizen? I am. We spent $2.5 TRILLION dollars in Afghanistan for the past 20 years. And, we didn't have that money. We borrowed it, so with interest payments, its going to continue to cost $75-$100+ BILLION a year in interest payments in perpetuity. My brother and his friends were military dudes. They fought and some died over there. We spent 20 years trying to help the Afghan people and it was a total waste of time and money. (Yes, we only have ourselves to blame.) Enough is enough. This is reality. It's easy to throw out useless comments when you have no skin in the game. And, let me demonstrate what $2+ TRILLION means. IT'S $300 MILLION A DAY FOR 20 YEARS.
