Ok, people of Islamic faith. Are you going to be ok when a Korean drama starts portraying your religion in a negative cult like fashion? Because that is legal and that's what happens to Christianity in Korea. There have been several TV shows that use this cult-Christianity as a theme.

@mr.ellisholama2337 YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT. Korea is a generally a secular country. Yes, Christianity and Buddhism is practiced, but it's in the background. Islam faith is never in the background. It's always in your face and unrelenting.

Always interesting how Muslims assimilated into America better than Europe. I've always just said it's because of proximity, but have no clue.

@hodanmohamed3663 lol, and this is the problem. You really going to make me spell it out?

It's a zoning issue and infrastructure issue. Churches have limited hours of operations. Mosques (see Daegu) have 24-7 hours of operations. Plus, the town isn't setup for tons of people to be visiting that area. Muslims in US cities do it right. They had their mosque in a high traffic area near the bars where I'd go and late night drink. A lot of the cab drivers would go and pray, but there was no disturbance to the public since the mosque was in an area large amounts of people.

@mr.ellisholama2337 Dude - I'm American. We deal with the no religion, passive religion and extreme ones. Ain't nothing to us.

@athenasantiago3465 Korea has a low crime rate because "generally" people are good citizens. You care about the bigger circle rather than just yourselves. Japan is the best at this. (and Korea has gotten a bit worse over time) And, I've been going to Korea since '01 before CCTV cameras.

@TheProudWife515 Yeap, I have no problem with any religion. It's their life. I have a problem when they think their rules should supersede societies rules and / or other people should follow their religious rules (Danish Muhammad cartoon, Salman Rushdie etc).

@athenasantiago3465 Not going to argue with a religious zealot. You people see everything through the eyes of religion and can't imagine that secular beliefs can be based on ethics regardless of a historical past. It's the same nonsense when people say that the US is founded on Christian beliefs. Just nonsense.

@athenasantiago3465 I choose to not have rational discussions with religious zealots. And to be honest, someone doing very poor analysis. I'm barely qualified to discuss Korean stuff and I'm Korean and I've visited 10+ times + lived there for a year since 2001. a person who has very strong feelings about something (such as religion or politics) and who wants other people to have those feelings
