  1. The sad part is the real life workplace isn't structured like this. You don't have an infinite amount of time for studying stuff. The people that excel are people that can calculate / observe things, come up with a plan, execute in a fast efficient manner. And, yeah. Be a good communicator / office politician. Edit: I became valued at my company because...I knew how to manipulate data well. I mean really well. Other people would come up with "opinions" and I would come with conclusions based off data. I learned how to pull data fast and dump it into excel and "outsmart" others around me. Also, I had a tendency to remember numbers well. Good at numbers, suck at languages like Korean.
