My cousin and I have gone to a few room salons / "adult" bars in Korea (he lives there). It's quite comical to me that room salons / adult bars operate freely, but people are worried about a fan meet with Japanese AV actresses.

@Johanneslol11 I had to look that up. That's how Itaewon used to be. Itaewon cleaned up a lot since the early 2000s as well. The places we would go are more setup "bar / clubs" on the outside. You'd never know. Nothing really goes on in the room though. Girls just sit with you. Though, I'm pretty sure you can make arrangements for other stuff. My Korean isn't great, so the chit-chat was mostly simple sentences. Have no idea how it works exactly. Usually, we'd hang out with my female cousin, but she was getting married, lol. So, we went out on our own. Edit: Just realized a variation of Texas street was used for a Korean drama, The Fiery Priest (Russian elements).
