If you watch this channel, you are getting an over representation of what's happening. It's a few case here and there over time. "Statistically" very little. - About 40 children die every year in Korea due to child abuse committed mostly by their parents - In 2021, about 4.8 children died each day of abuse and neglect in the United States (the real outlier trend in Korea is suicide. it's way too high, but in line with Japan.)

@UnstableYT-u7k I think mental health stuff balances out. Even though Korean people drink a lot. No one uses drugs. US has way more murders / drug overdoses. Korea has way less of those and way more suicides. Just did a quick Google search. Korea is really high. Around 26 / 100K. Japan is around 18. US is around 14. (data is different depending on the site)
