It should be split between 2 days. No one should be subjected to a 9 hour test and expect their maximum performance.

Unless you are going to an Ivy league type school or some of the elite State schools ie Berkeley, US schools are easy to get into. My SAT was around 1200 (1600 max scoring) and I didn't study for it at all.

@TrinhNguyen-sh4fj Just not how it works in the US. Not going to a top tier school in the US doesn't limit your chances for the rest of your life. That's how it works in Korea. Once I started my career in the States, the college was a 1 line at the bottom. Didn't matter. In Korea, you'll always be judged by the college.

@TrinhNguyen-sh4fj No offense, but you really think its a fair comparison of fobby Chinese people vs people that grew up in the US?

@abdullahghauri7211 Taking tests did nothing for my career after college. Being able to critical think with efficiency + learned skills is what helps you. Again, written tests isn't that. Being curious, taking initiative and having "street" smarts are way better than rote knowledge. Example: I worked in a Fortune 500 company that sold clothes. I was in a functional area that was a bit weather sensitive. It was my first job out of college. Realizing how important weather was to our department, I used to send regular regional weather updates to our cross functional team. No one asked me to do it, but I thought it was relevant information that impacted our sales. (Our department was responsible for regional sales breakdowns as a grouping.) Spitting out stuff you memorized for a test doesn't teach you that.
