  1. Not enough time in life to do a deep dive if I'm not going to use the data, but it's a bit confounding. Population peaked about 5-10 years ago, but housing costs are sky rocketing still. Maybe it's the regional displacement of available housing or like the video is talking about, a change in household makeup. Side note: Korea should start experimenting with old people residences mixed with daycare. They've done it on a small scale in the West.
