As a Korean that grew up in the US, this stuff never bothers me. I literally got confused for Chinese or Japanese during my childhood. Even though the US fought a war in Korea, no one knew what or where Korea was when I was a kid.

@raenakim-geyer Don't take offense to this, but you have a dash in your name. You have way more faith in white people than I do. If the French screwed up something Vietnamese, I'd say it was more intentional. I'll lean on my East Coast education where my schools didn't even include Asia into our education curriculum. I literally had to re-take a history class after I transferred colleges because I took Western Civ and my new school didn't accept it. Edit: I did just see the S / lightning symbol which looks a lot like the n*zi S. Maybe they are just being dicks.

@michaelashby9654 Dumbass. Wasn't just kids growing up. It was white adults as well. Don't make random assumptions on other people's lives. Wasn't as bad as other minorities, but things were very uncomfortable at times living on the East Coast. Edit: If you are Korean or another minority and you didn't deal with shit, congrats. If you are white, how about not interjecting in a Korean viewpoint conversation?

@cocaineminor4420 1- I'm talking in a Korean centric news channel 2- I'm stipulating that I'm ethnically Korean 3- My official nationality has no bearing on the veracity of my comment 4- What and how I label myself is none of your business 5- Lots of Koreans are on US green cards and then move back to Korea later in life 6- My grandparents live in Korea. And, my parents 7- I have lived in Korea for an unnamed "extended" amount of time as an adult (obviously, you don't know many Koreans or you wouldn't make such uninformed comments.)
