A few random comments: Always thought it was pronounced R..O..K and not "rock". Just never heard anyone pronounce it. Also, pretty crazy the different ages / rank of the leadership. ROK is a Lt Colonel and the US is a Captain. Obviously, the ROK has more responsibility as a battalion commander and the Captain is just engineering.
