Nike, KFC, Estee Lauder, MCD, Apple. These are all real data points that you can trust. They publish data quarterly for their earnings. Oddly, MCD bought back the stores in China that they sold years ago.

@auggieeast In 2015, they slowly stopped publishing detailed economic data points. Can't audit their top line numbers anymore. Just have to "believe" their press releases. Used to be 80,000 economic statistics. Now, it's around 10-15,000. But, if you are curious, you can make up your own fake numbers: GDP = C (consumption) + I (Investment) + G (Government spending) + NX (net exports) I'm not sure when new homes sales started -30%, but that's when they started going negative GDP. Lots of noise though with lockdowns, re-opening, exports from US crashing.

@fturla___156 lol, this has to be the more ill-informed statement ever. They own a lot of land / real estate...OF THE STORE LOCATIONS. They don't own random real estate. They lease it to the franchisee.
