I was a department head during 2007-09. But realistically, it had zero impact on me or anyone I knew. We froze salaries and management took paycuts. We cut staff, but really we used it as an excuse to fire people that were low performers. We did have to let go of a new hire which kinda sucked because she was new in her career. CCP China is likely the same. You have some industries getting crushed. Others are getting hit, but managing. IMO, it will never blow up to the extent of these videos. Times will be tough, but it's not going to be Great Depression Dust Bowl like.

JFC. This video is all over the place. Basis points mean nothing in day to day movement. I have no idea why they are highlighting it. Edit: the problem with this video is...I know more than whoever put it together. It's a bunch of gobbledygook. Just random points of data that don't support anything or mean anything.
