@h.e.pennypacker5228 Famines can only happen if a country doesn't have enough foreign currency or they are a hermit nation like North Korea. Having to buy more food overseas isn't a famine.

@h.e.pennypacker5228 Do a bit a research. You have zero clue what a famine is. People literally starve to death. No one is going to starve to death if they have to eat less meat. The CCP has $3 TRILLION in US bonds. They can buy food. Just 55 percent of the world's crop calories are actually eaten directly by people. Another 36 percent is used for animal feed. And the remaining 9 percent goes toward biofuels and other industrial uses.
