US housing price drop max’d out at -19%. But, the oversupply of 2.5M homes rapidly went to under supply by 2010-11. CCP China has years and years of oversupply.

Maybe I have missed it, but I've never seen anyone protest out of altruistic reasons. Chinese people only seem to care when it impacts them directly.

@llothar68 Vaporizing hard assets...is not a positive for an economy. That destruction of wealth has real consequences.

@bluu2t Yeah, sadly most of the Chinese that immigrated to America were the Cantonese. They are starting to get overrun by the Mandarin speakers now. Feel a bit bad the Cantonese immigrants are getting sullied by the new wave.

@Whaleydavey Generally, one side of the aisle has been like this. I won't point fingers, but... Rob Portman, R-Ohio opposed gay marriage legislation. Portman reversed his conservative stance Thursday in light of his own son's being gay. When his son, Will, came out to him two years ago, he began to think differently about same-sex marriages.
