  1. It was always so clear cut to me when everyone is quoting that real estate was 25% of GDP and 70% of household wealth. When new home sales started to downtrend by over -20%, I was like whoa. Then, it slid like that for 2 solid years (with a reopening bump).

  5. The US economy is very broad and diversified. Also, it's a high income country unlike China. It's very odd to compare the 2 economies.
