  1. This is not Lehman. I'd say this is more like Japan during their real estate bubble. The real issue is the local governments derive revenue by selling land to developers. If the pace of real estate development slows, you will see a cascading effect in revenue across the board. Not a huge giant crash like the GFC, but stagnation like Japan in the 1990s and beyond.
