lol, if Orban is against him, he's a good pick.

About the same chance as Prigozhin living a fruitful life after the attempted coup.

Love how Poland is just saying f’ it. Also, they are diversifying their tank supply if Germany gets annoyed. It is kinda crazy. The whole reason all these tanks were bought was…against possible Russian aggression.
565
Inappropriate humor: it's pretty comical they have to wait for the drones to arrive. It's like a pizza delivery warfare.
484
Finally. It’s countries like Finland and Azerbaijan standing up to Russia.
436
Wait, what? Russia invaded their sovereign territory. I'm surprised they waited this long.
369
Was thinking the same thing. This is the hard right group with the hawkish position.
133
At the minimum, Xi should be referred to only "Balloon boy" from now on.
124
Never heard one Palestinian denounce Hamas.
124
It's relatively cheap for a bomb / rocket. It's basically a MacGyver rocket. Takes a current bomb and they slap a rocket on it. Only costs about $40K. GMLRS rockets around 3x the amount. ATACMS are close to $1M+.
112
Korea will not supply directly. Indirectly, yes. Directly, no.
112
I apologize to our allies for electing this clear and present danger to your national security.
86
So, Russia might lose their port base on the Mediterranean?
66
Still don't understand why the US never developed these countries as industrial bases instead of China.
66
Obviously bad and don't want to minimize the current loss of life. It's a good thing that Australia put stricter gun control laws years ago. You saw citizens being able to fight back somewhat and minimize the potential loss of life. Can't do that against guns.
48
I'd imagine UA is going to run out of shells for their Russian made tanks. Seems inevitable they'll need tanks at some point. Quick random search shows that UK and France have under 500 tanks. Germany has around 2,500. Seems like Germany should be donating. No one is going to invade Germany. (US can do random backfilling if there are any other NATO countries that still have Russian tanks and replace them with Abrams.)
39
Literally, Kyiv is doing the opposite of US suggestions. They refused to retreat from Bakhmut when US military planners said its a waste of resources.
39
Wait, so the same people that are aggressively militaristic are...against serving in the military? Hmm...
37
These are not US proxies.
28
@johnm84 There is literally a video where a citizen is holding back the dude with the knife at the mall with a metal pole on the escalator. Delayed the guy enough for the cops to arrive. No one does that against a gun.
23
@polikarpkojin4088 Sure bud. If Blackwater would have stormed and took over Ft Bragg, it's just your friendly conversation. Coup or Mutiny. Doesn't matter. Putin put him 6 ft under. Btw, coupe is a car style.
21
Never seen such tilted stats: 100K+ homes damaged, but only 100+ deaths.
19
They are the hard right. And, the ones always causing trouble in the illegal settlements.
17
lol, his inner circle is feeding him bad data.
16
@NotUnymous There is an english (American) idiom: Potato or Po-tah-to that applies here. Makes no difference is if the aid is direct or indirect. As long as it gets there. If Korea sells 155mm shells to the US and then US gives 155mm shells from its stock to Ukraine, its the same thing. Likewise, if Poland is buying the K9 howitzer from Korea and then donating the Krab howitzer to Ukraine, its accomplishing the same thing.
16
HK is probably the best model. Maybe they'll get lucky and the strain weakened, but 55K deaths per day at the peak. Also, China is a big country. Not all cities will get hit simultaneously.
13
Patience. Troops need to be trained in groups on new equipment. The US has a good amount of Bradleys in storage.
13
@jj-ou5gh Samsung (Korea) was smart and moved nearly a decade ago.
13
If you want to understand Pooh Bear, just remember: the guy basically has a middle school education. Dude went to the rural area at high school age and stayed there until he was 24. Then, he got a backdoor admission to college. And, this is the reason he's clueless about economics. All of his policies are a disaster.
13
Blue on blue As an ethnic Korean that grew up in the states, that's a bit of a myopic position. The US spent $400B and 40K lives to defend Korea. The US got a few military bases out of it. Not even criticizing Korea's position, but sometimes decisions are made for the good of the cause.
13
@emperorsadrax7242 You must be really young. Before it made in China, it was made in Hong Kong or Korea. They ain't large populations. Korea did have a decent industrial base though.
13
I swear a few months ago they were saying it’s a bad drought and rivers were dangerously low.
12
Liberal democracies aren't just about elections.
11
Israel will get blamed somehow. Then, the Americans.
11
@jonny2954 From what I've read, the negotiations / explorations have been happening in the US defense department for months. Likely, they are further along in the process. (US defense department had to find the right Bradleys and get sign off to make sure the technology isn't "too advanced" ie optics / communications.)
11
Not a fan when people are labeled with tags. Political spectrums and baselines are way different depending on your country. I'm center left in the US and would vote normally center right in a lot of countries. Likely, I would have voted for Milei if I lived in Argentina. I would never vote for a US right wing person.
10
Part of projecting power is avoiding actual conflicts. Really is risky getting tested.
10
lol, they've said this every year for the past 5+ years.
10
NORAD is a joint US-CA organization.
10
Could be a biological weapon.
9
Frankenstein would be a more accurate word instead of cannibalism.
9
Just doesn’t work that way. You see the limitations of US aid in Ukraine.
9
@gluteusmaximus1657 It was the separatists Russians that started the conflict. "I was the one who pulled the trigger of this war," Strelkov said in an interview published Thursday with Russia's Zavtra newspaper, which espouses imperialist views. "If our unit hadn't crossed the border, everything would have fizzled out — like in [the Ukrainian city of] Kharkiv, like in Odessa,"
9
Dude - the CCP admitted it.
9
RU has been lobbing missiles left and right. Only evens the playing field...a bit.
9
BRICS baby! Greatest coalition of countries in history.
9
They don’t have property tax. That’s the issue.
8
Jens was pretty aggressive.
8
Same thing happened to an American ambassador in Korea during the mid-2010s.
8
lol, you've never worked in production.
