It's the same company that the CCP shadow banned and encouraged its citizens to boycott after THAAD was installed in Korea (land owned by Lotte). Lotte invested $10B in a decade into China stores / factories. Overnight, it's business went down the toilet. Most of the stores and factories were sold off before the pandemic. Almost a blessing in disguise. Allowed them to expand into SE Asia earlier.

@emikomina What does that have to do with Taiwan and CCP China? Mine as well add the North Korea angle for Lotte. lol, he's not even a Zainichi. I met one while working at a restaurant in Hawaii. They are still proud of their Korean heritage.
