  1. They are in a massive recession. Common sense math is hard for people. People need to learn weighted averages. The housing sector has been -20% to -30% for over a year now. If that's 25% of GDP, zero chance GDP is positive. US exports have been a hard negative since November of last year. Every common sense metric says they are negative GDP. - Exports - FDI - Real Estate - Governments cutting salaries
