It took the Terminator to win statewide office and he’s super moderate. No GOP person has won a statewide office since.
3
@Segalmed Geez, my joking comment turned very dark. Umm, why would schools have access to anyone's menstruation data?
3
It’s NYC with some of the best delis in the US and they are eating processed McDs slop.
3
Worst thing that could happen in Trump’s eyes is happening.,,he’s becoming really boring.
3
They are all wack jobs. They'll try to find a way to say embryos are humans and they support IVF at the same time. Because after that, they are coming for birth control. Sperm and eggs are going to have "rights", lol.
3
I’m hoping this is sarcasm.
3
Naw, stuff got out of hand. People lie easily sometimes and then, are like “whoa, what’s going on”.
3
Catholics in America have been ignoring the Vatican for decades. Many decades. Catholics are around 20-25% of the population since the '50s. No real change. I'm guessing less white Catholics and more hispanic Catholics over time though.
3
I think the mayo and tuna comment was a nod towards Mark Warner's horrible sandwich.
3
Why are people laughing? It’s weird and gross.
2
Dems do a terrible job at explaining things. I know some people will hate it, but she's going to need to throw some of the Biden admin under the bus on some issues.
2
No way can anyone make any conclusions. Harris is still the underdog.
2
Very valid point.
2
No, the borrowing cost is the highest in the market. It's impossible to short. The short charge is 500% per year. You can't make money shorting it.
2
side note: Barry Diller is a known Democratic backer. But, he isn't lying. Truth Social has a current market cap of 5.5B. Paramount has a valuation of 8.3B (but, they have a lot of debt).
2
0:04 still boggles my mind as that is the weirdest and most uncomfortable looking posture. Can't believe a human can stand like that for an extended period of time.
2
@grayaj23 Unlike FL or TX, the average Californian is a supporter of the environment and believes in climate change. Even though TX and CA (and FL) are heavily Latino, it just seems CA overall is more friendly to immigrants. That's 2 big planks of the GOP haters.
2
Too exhausted from the week, but I’m sure someone can intermix the “pull out method” creatively.
2
That's how I act around my female cousin that I have seen in years.
2
TX will flip blue before CA turns red. The GOP would have to become way more moderate post-orange guy.
2
1- wait, some dude saw the Israelis make a mass grave and didn’t whip out their camera phone? 2- the Israeli side doesn’t seem very believable 3- can’t compromise because it’s based in religion 4- I tuned out this conflict a decade ago. Been going on my whole life. Neither side wants peace.
2
Same shit the New York Times did with HRC’s email stories. They covered it so much so when Comey did that stupid announcement, people just assumed.
2
But, there is a difference. In theory (lol), he just can't get straight cash from right wing donors AND stay on the Bench. Leaving the bench and taking the money, there is no conflict of interest.
2
My political experience is owning the West Wing DVDs and watching it multiple times. I'm 1000x more qualified running the RNC than Lara Trump.
2
Yeap, these people were outcasts before the internet.
2
Wait, do the Dems own the nursing home vote? lol
2
In a small state, 1-2% is much easier hurdle. It's TX though. That's still a huge gap in the hundreds of thousands. That's why NE is has more opportunity. Less than 1M people vote in total.
2
It's nearly impossible these days. They are the party of hate. Maybe 20 or 30 years ago, it would be reasonable to associated with the GOP. She works with so many diverse people. Just opens people's eyes up that different people are people too.
1
@milascave2 Actually, it's never been tested because running for president is the only time it could be rule by a court via the Constitution. The Constitution does not expressly define “natural born” nor has the Supreme Court ever ruled precisely upon its meaning.
1
@xuxuang8574 It's pretty stiff language. As a kid, I would always say, "I was born here" or "I was born in Baltimore".
1
@jon2026 Attendance at the rallies in swing states have no bearing on the voting. It's going to be a turnout game. She's still the underdog since she has to sweep all the blue wall states (WI MI PA). Trump just needs to win GA and PA and hold NC.
1
This fool has a security clearance.
1
Feel bad for perspective parents, but feel better politically. The more stupid things to attack personal freedoms with women are better for election results.
1
I’m not even smart enough. My old roommate loved Scrabble, but I was terrible. We would play cribbage instead.
1
@dianep6791 It's the reverse order. You sell the stock first, but here is the "issue". You have to borrow the stock from someone. Then, you buy back the stock later to close to the trade. To borrow the stock to short sell, you are paying 10% interest PER WEEK, lol. Ex: Sell at $50 (You get $50). Then, you buy at $30 (You pay out $30) 50-20 = $20 in profit.
1
I miss getting Big Macs and give in every once and while. Then, I feel disgusted and disappointed every time. Sometimes, I can just taste the chemicals on the lettuce.
1
Has to be around $100M.
1
Weird choice to pick PTSD. I'm pretty pragmatic and have "PTSD" from Big Pharma and their opioid pain scandal. But that was more about lying about the drug and the addiction potential. If someone told me that doctors are overprescribing for ADHD, I'd be like, "it's possible". To label PTSD is as "grief" seems awfully simplistic.
1
@PROGRAMMINGFLAW-w1m Congrats Pastor! For not reading my comment properly and commenting on a subject you know nothing about! I literally said, "lying about the drug and the addiction potential". Have you followed the multiple lawsuits over the past 10+ years? Have you ever heard of Insys? Mallinckrodt? McKesson?
1
Youth should be voting more NOT taking away rights of anyone. 18-29 votes at only 40% participation rate.
1
Naw, the GOP has never looked down on international sweatshops. It was the Dems. Forced labor is a different topic ie CCP China. And, it's always been a silly topic. They've always been paid an above market rate for where they live (from what I remember).
1
Geez, obviously you’ve never read some of the MoH letters.
1
If he lied on the application, he can be stripped of citizenship. Even with treason, it’s likely the person remains a citizen.
1
I’m a Dem and think Gascon is an idiot.
1
1:10 this man has played chess before. Ugh, and he realizes he fell into a trap.
1
Agree. Proper analysis. The risk vs reward isn't there. The billing / fees are going to be pretty minimal, but the potential future obligations and entanglement could be unlimited. Accounting firms will turn down companies if they can't trust them.
1
lol, they are making land vote.
1
Polls have been off for the last 2 cycles. Too much noise now too, so mid-Sep after the debate is when the real picture settles in.
1
That seems a bit high on the percentage. Informally, I'd say it's <5%. And, I moved to SF after college. Edit: just googled. the survey numbers are all of the place.
1
@Bloodstar-o7 Look up, "Mark Warner tuna melt".
