  1. It's really just South Korea and Japan need to get along and become better allies. SE Asia is always going to stay neutral. Philippine is the big exception. Vietnam is generally neutral. Thailand is generally neutral. Malaysia / Indonesia tend to swing in the "other" direction. Singapore is neutral, but maybe tilts a little to the West. Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos tend to economically driven. The small Pacific island nations are starting to get bought off by China.

  5. lol, no. But, the last admin was a dove. Just terrible from a foreign policy perspective. The new dude is a hawk. (ROK has 1 term 5 year Presidential terms.)

  6. One of those "good" mistakes. US is always going to be aggressive in export rights. Kicked Korea into high gear to develop their own gear. A diversified production base among allies is a good thing.
