  1. umm, adoption should be comfortable. Same race adoptions create WAY less tension for the kids and parents. And actually, it's pretty difficult to adopt in America.

  2. Korea is out of the mass adoption business. They'd rather not have poor people adopt Korean kids and intentionally have made the hurdles difficult. (Literally, there are income requirements to adopt from Korea now.)

  3. South Korea has strict rules on who can adopt. Single parents are not on the list.
